Hyderabad, Mar 26 (TNT): Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Thursday directed officials to strengthen the Multi-Modal Transport System (MMTS) services within the Core Urban Region (CURE) of Hyderabad to meet the growing transportation needs of commuters.
During a review meeting held at the Legislative Council Hall, Reddy expressed concern over the declining number of passengers using MMTS services in recent times and sought details from officials.
He instructed authorities to increase the frequency of MMTS trains during peak office hours and ensure strict adherence to punctuality to attract more commuters.
Officials informed the Chief Minister that the lack of direct RTC bus connectivity to MMTS stations many of which are located away from main roads was a major challenge.

He directed authorities to submit a detailed report on measures to boost passenger numbers and strengthen the overall MMTS network.
