Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Crosses 6 Lakh Global Sales Milestone

Chennai, Mar 12 (TNT): Royal Enfield’s mid-size cruiser motorcycle, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, has crossed the six lakh sales milestone globally since its launch in November 2020, the company said on Thursday.

The motorcycle, powered by a 349cc air-oil-cooled single-cylinder engine, has emerged as one of the most popular cruisers in the segment, attracting both experienced motorcyclists and first-time buyers with its relaxed riding character, refined performance and comfortable ergonomics, the company said in a release here.

Developed on the J-series platform, the Meteor 350 was the first model from Royal Enfield to adopt the new architecture, which focuses on improved refinement and rideability.

The motorcycle has helped expand the mid-size cruiser segment by appealing to riders looking for an accessible machine for both daily commutes and long-distance touring.

Since its launch, the Meteor 350 has received several accolades, including the Indian Motorcycle of the Year, highlighting its impact in the Indian motorcycle market.

The motorcycle combines classic cruiser styling with modern features such as a digi-analog instrument cluster, Tripper navigation pod, LED lighting elements, premium switchgear, USB Type-C fast-charging port, assist-and-slip clutch and adjustable levers.

The Meteor 350 is offered in four variants — Fireball, Stellar, Aurora and Supernova — with ex-showroom prices in India ranging between ₹1,95,546 and ₹2,15,770.

According to the company, the model continues to witness strong demand in India as well as international markets, particularly in Latin America, SAARC and Europe.

The motorcycle is currently sold in more than 60 countries through a dealer network of over 2,000 outlets in India and more than 1,000 stores across global markets.
