New Amrit Bharat Express Between Charlapalli and Kamakhya to Start on March 13

Hyderabad, Mar 10 (TNT): A new Amrit Bharat Express with Sleeper and General Second Class coaches will begin service between Charlapalli in Telangana and Kamakhya in Assam from March 13, 2026, railway officials said on Tuesday.

The train will directly connect Telangana and Andhra Pradesh with Assam, providing access to the seven sister states of Northeast India.

The service is expected to offer safe, comfortable and cost-effective travel for long-distance passengers, particularly those heading to the northeastern region.

En route, the train will stop at Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram Junction, Pendurti, Duvvada, Samalkot Junction, Rajahmundry, Tanuku, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada, Vijayawada, Guntur and Nalgonda in both directions.
