Telangana Cabinet to meet on Thursday, discuss drought conditions, Global Summit preparations

Hyderabad, Nov 4 (TNT) : The Telangana Cabinet Chaired by Chief Minsiter A Revanth Reddy, will meet at the Dr B R Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat here on Thursday at 4 pm.
Preparations for the upcoming Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026 are expected to be a key agenda item, with the Cabinet likely to review arrangements and related proposals.
The Cabinet is expected to review the drought situation, rainfall deficit and its impact on agriculture, rural livelihoods, drinking water and other sectors.
It may also discuss measures to address the challenges arising from the prevailing conditions.

The meeting is also expected to take up draft Bills and policy proposals submitted by various departments, besides reviewing ongoing welfare schemes, development projects and budgetary allocations.
The Cabinet may also review vacancies in government departments and recruitment-related matters.
Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju has reviewed the proposed agenda and departmental notes ahead of the meeting.
The meeting is expected to discuss other administrative and political matters, including local body elections and reservation-related issues.
