Amit Shah assures all assistance to states in wake of Cyclone Arnab

New Delhi, Oct 29 (TNT) :Union Home Minister Amit Shah has spoken to the Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh, Puducherry, Odisha and Chhattisgarh and assured them of all possible assistance to mitigate the hardships caused by Cyclone Arnab.

In a post on X, Shah said the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) teams had swung into action and were continuing rescue and relief operations on a war footing.

Inter-Ministerial Central Teams (IMCTs) would soon be sent to assess the impact of the cyclone and determine the further assistance required, he said.

The Union government stood firmly with the people affected by the disaster, Shah added.
