BikeWo, Green Drive Mobility Plan Investment of Up to Rs 150 Crore to Scale EV Logistics

Hyderabad, Oct 27 (TNT): BikeWo Green Tech Ltd, an Indian electric mobility and logistics company headquartered in Hyderabad, and Green Drive Auto Services Pvt Ltd, operating as Green Drive Mobility, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to expand electric vehicle-based logistics operations across India, with a target of deploying at least 5,000 electric trucks over the coming years.

As part of the proposed long-term partnership, BikeWo intends to progressively invest up to Rs 150 crore in Bengaluru- based Green Drive Mobility to support fleet expansion, technology integration, operational infrastructure and new institutional logistics opportunities, the companies said in a statement on Tuesday.

The collaboration will combine Green Drive Mobility’s existing operating infrastructure, enterprise customer relationships and fleet management expertise with BikeWo’s focus on fleet ownership, financing and institutional partnerships.

Green Drive Mobility currently operates more than 350 electric trucks and around 8,000 electric two-wheelers.

It also provides ONDC-enabled last-mile logistics services, supporting major quick-commerce companies through its electric two-wheeler fleet.

The companies plan to expand their enterprise partnerships, increase geographical coverage and develop technology-enabled fleet operations spanning first-mile, mid-mile, last-mile and long-haul transportation.

BikeWo Green Tech CEO Hiten Pal Saklani said the partnership aimed to build a large-scale green logistics platform through progressive investments, institutional partnerships and sustainable business models.

Green Drive Mobility Founder and CEO Ala Harikrishna said the association would help strengthen the company’s capabilities, accelerate fleet deployment and support the growth of sustainable transportation in India.
