US-based AssetMark Opens GCC in Hyderabad, to House 500 Employees
The centre, named AssetMark Global Wealth, marks a shift from the company’s outsourcing model in India, where it has operated for nearly a decade, to an in-house team supporting its global operations.
Located at H-10, By Phoenix Hitech City, the facility will work closely with the company’s US teams on technology, engineering, operations and product management, with a focus on using artificial intelligence to improve financial advisors’ productivity and client services.
AssetMark Chairman and Group CEO Lou Maiuri said Hyderabad’s technology and financial services ecosystem made it an appropriate location for expanding the company’s global capabilities.
Chief Operating Officer Carrie Hansen said bringing operations and technology teams together would strengthen collaboration, accelerate innovation and improve services for financial advisors and their clients.
The company has begun recruitment across technology, operations and product management, covering leadership positions, experienced professionals and entry-level roles.
As part of its campus recruitment initiative, AssetMark will partner with Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT) to recruit 10-15 graduates for its first batch of campus hires.
The programme will subsequently be expanded to other institutions and disciplines.
AssetMark, which is in its 30th year, provides financial advisors with planning tools, investment solutions and operational capabilities to help them manage and grow their businesses.
