IIRM Holdings lists on NSE under ticker ‘IIRM’; targets global expansion and tech-driven diversification

Mumbai, Oct 22 (TNT) : Financial services and insurance distribution company IIRM Holdings India Limited made its trading debut on the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) on Thursday, listing its equity shares under the symbol “IIRM”.
The listing was commemorated with a ceremonial bell-ringing at the NSE, attended by exchange officials, company board members, institutional investors, business partners, and employees.
Tracing its origins to 1999 as an aggregation of individual insurance agents, the company has since expanded into a multi-vertical platform operating across insurance broking and distribution, corporate wellness, staffing, and allied support services.
The group currently comprises seven operating companies, employs over 500 personnel, and manages more than ₹1,800 crore in annual gross premium turnover across operations in India, Singapore, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, and Kenya.
Addressing stakeholders on the market debut, V. Rama Krishna, Chairman and Managing Director of IIRM Holdings India Limited, outlined the group’s long-term operational and geographical roadmap.
“We intend to deepen our insurance and allied-services capabilities across geographies and leverage technology to enhance service efficiency and customer experience,” Rama Krishna said.
“We will continue diversifying across commercial and specialty insurance, reinsurance, international operations, and selective acquisitions, with the objective of reducing dependence on any single product, channel, or remuneration structure,” he added.
The management stated that the listing on the premier national bourse will provide broader capital market visibility, broaden its shareholder base, and reinforce corporate governance and reporting standards.
