Pune: Bajaj Broking Launches Commodity Trading on Digital Platforms
The new segment includes gold, silver, crude oil, natural gas, copper, aluminium, lead and zinc, besides agricultural commodities such as kapas, cardamom and mentha oil. Standard and mini contracts are available in select categories, the company said in a release on Wednesday.
The platform offers a commodity options chain with Greeks to help traders assess an option’s sensitivity to changes in underlying prices, volatility and time to expiry.
It also supports basket orders, allowing multiple orders to be grouped and submitted together.
Other features include intraday and normal product types, Good Till Triggered (GTT) orders and commodity price alerts. Order execution is subject to applicable contract conditions, margin requirements and market availability.
Real-time market data and charts enable users to monitor commodity prices and place orders through a single screen. Brokerage and statutory charges are displayed upfront to provide greater transparency on trading costs.
Anurag Misra, Chief Technology Officer of Bajaj Broking, said the launch broadened the range of markets accessible through the platform while integrating features for options analysis, order execution and price monitoring.
