Coordination Needed to Boost Overseas Job Opportunities for Youth: Telangana Min.Vivek

Hyderabad, Feb 25 (TNT): Telangana Labour, Employment and Mines Minister Dr. G. Vivek Venkatswamy on Wednesday stressed the need for close coordination between the Centre and State in skill training, passport services and immigration procedures to enhance overseas employment opportunities for youth.

During a meeting with Ministry of External Affairs officials at the Secretariat, the Minister highlighted the importance of foreign language training, domain skills, and mentorship to improve global employability.

Officials also reviewed programmes supporting overseas placements and discussed strengthening awareness on safe and legal migration.

He noted that Telangana is upgrading ITIs into Advanced Technology Centres and expanding initiatives through the Telangana Overseas Manpower Company to prepare skilled professionals for international jobs.
