Hyderabad, Feb 25 (TNT): The Government of Telangana has extended the tenure of K. Sreenivas Reddy as Chairman of the Telangana Media Academy for a further period of two years with effect from February 25, 2026.
According to a G.O issued by the General Administration (Information & Public Relations) Department on Wednesday , the government took the decision after careful examination of the matter.
His earlier appointment was made for two years from the date of issuance of orders in February 2024.
The order stated that the remuneration, allowances, facilities and supporting staff already sanctioned will continue during the extended tenure.
Expenditure towards remuneration, staff salaries and vehicle hiring will be met from the funds of the Information & Public Relations Department under the relevant head of account.
All other terms and conditions of his appointment will remain unchanged, and the Special Commissioner, Information & Public Relations Department, Hyderabad, has been directed to take necessary action accordingly.
