Hyderabad Airport Launches Real-Time Digital Platform to Track Lost Belongings
The platform allows passengers to submit lost-item requests, track their progress using a unique reference ID and communicate securely with the airport’s Lost & Found team when additional information or verification is required, the airport said in a release.
To register a complaint, passengers must visit the airport’s Lost & Found portal, select ‘Raise a Request’, enter their contact details, choose the category of the missing item and provide information about where and when it was misplaced.
Users can also upload a photograph of the item, if available, to assist identification.
After submitting the request, passengers receive a unique reference ID by email, which can be used to track the status of the complaint online.
The system provides updates throughout the recovery process, from identification and verification to the return of the belongings.
Kadhir Kadhiravan, CEO of GHIAL, said the initiative was aimed at improving passenger experience through digital transformation and technology-driven services.
He said the platform would provide greater transparency, convenience and visibility in the recovery process while improving responsiveness to passenger requests.
The integrated system reflects GHIAL’s efforts to streamline airport services and make the recovery of lost belongings more accessible to passengers.
