JNTUK Holds Workshop on AI-Driven Engineering Systems
The workshop, titled “Artificial Intelligence-Driven Engineered Systems: From AI to Model-Based Design — Advancing Engineering Education and Research”, was organised by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) in collaboration with MathWorks and ARKANCE at the ECE Gallery Hall.
MathWorks experts Zahida Vasim, Sriramana Amchuri and Pragnya Gonkar served as resource persons and explained the technical aspects of applying MATLAB, AI and model-based design in engineering education and research. Om Prakash and Venkata Krishna represented ARKANCE and coordinated the programme.
JNTUK University College of Engineering Principal K. Padmaraju highlighted the importance of MATLAB and AI-based technical tools in engineering education, innovation and research.
He appreciated the ECE department for organising the workshop to enhance the technical knowledge of faculty members and research scholars.
ECE Department Head and Associate Professor B. Leela Kumary, the workshop convenor, said around 80 faculty members and research scholars from the JNTUK campus and affiliated engineering colleges were participating in the programme.
She thanked JNTUK Vice-Chancellor P.S.R.K. Prasad, the Registrar and the Rector for their support and encouragement in organising the workshop.
