Bondada Engineering secures Rs 1,153.93-Cr EPC order for 270 MWp solar project in Maharashtra
Hyderabad, Oct 6 (TNT): Hyderabad-based Bondada Engineering Limited has secured an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) order worth Rs 1,153.93 crore for developing a 270 MWp ground-mounted solar photovoltaic project at various locations in Maharashtra.
The project is scheduled to be executed within six months from the receipt of the order, the company said on Tuesday.
The order strengthens Bondada Engineering’s presence in the large-scale solar EPC segment as the company expands its focus across renewable energy, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and emerging infrastructure opportunities.
The company said the project adds to its renewable energy portfolio and reflects its growing capabilities in executing large-scale solar projects.
Bondada Engineering Chairman and Managing Director Dr Bondada Raghavendra Rao said the order marked a significant milestone for the company and strengthened its solar EPC portfolio.
He said the company was focused on scaling its execution capabilities across high-growth segments such as renewable energy and BESS.
With the latest order, Bondada Engineering is looking to strengthen its position in the large-scale renewable energy EPC space while building a diversified project pipeline aligned with India’s clean energy and infrastructure requirements.
