Former Indian Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan offers prayers at Tirumala Temple

Tirumala (Andhra Pradesh), Oct 5 (TNT) : Former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan along with his wife Sophie Shine offered prayers at the Sri Venkateswara Temple here on Monday.

Dhawan, who visited the hill shrine for the first time, participated in the early morning Seva and sought the blessings of Lord Venkateswara.

Dhawan was dressed in a kurta and dhoti, while Sophie Shine wore a white suit.

Speaking to the media after the darshan, Dhawan said it was his first visit to Tirumala and described the experience as wonderful.

“ I am very grateful to have had such a good darshan of Lord Venkateswara and expressed his gratitude to the TTD administration for the arrangements made during his visit”, he added.
