BikeWo renews focus on Commerce Forever partnership, eyes deployment of up to 2,500 EVs
Hyderabad, Sept 7 (TNT): BikeWo Green Tech Limited (BikeWo) is renewing its focus on its existing strategic partnership with Commerce Forever as part of its broader strategy to build an integrated Energy & Mobility Infrastructure (EMI) platform.
BikeWo and Commerce Forever had entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in June 2025, envisaging the deployment of approximately 1,500–2,500 electric two-wheelers for last-mile delivery operations across Delhi NCR, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and adjoining regions, the company said in a release on Monday.
The partnership was initially conceived around electric vehicle deployment and last-mile logistics.
With BikeWo expanding its capabilities across EV fleet operations, vehicle leasing, logistics and supporting infrastructure, the company sees the Commerce Forever opportunity as aligned with its evolving EMI strategy.
The potential scale of the partnership is significant for BikeWo’s operating model, with a fleet of up to 2,500 vehicles providing opportunities to build economies of scale across vehicle procurement, financing, insurance, charging, maintenance and fleet management, while improving asset utilisation and overall operating efficiency.
Under the existing framework, the partnership covers EV deployment, rider onboarding, technology-enabled fleet management, route management and operational support for Commerce Forever’s B2B e-commerce supply chain ecosystem.
BikeWo is also evaluating strategic opportunities to strengthen its regional execution capabilities, including its ongoing evaluation of Delhi-based PositiEV Mobility, which could complement the operating requirements for large-scale fleet deployments in North India.
The company plans to pursue the Commerce Forever opportunity in a phased manner, with future deployments aligned with underlying demand, unit economics, commercial viability and capital allocation priorities.
Commenting on the development, Hiten Pal Saklani, Chief Executive Officer, BikeWo Green Tech Limited, said, “Commerce Forever represents an important opportunity within our broader Energy & Mobility Infrastructure strategy. The potential scale of up to 2,500 electric two-wheelers gives us an opportunity to build greater operating efficiencies across procurement, financing, maintenance and fleet operations.”
“As we strengthen the wider BikeWo platform, our focus will be on converting such opportunities into scalable and commercially sustainable operations,” he added.
The company said any definitive agreements, commercial arrangements or other material developments arising from the Commerce Forever partnership will be disclosed separately, as and when they are concluded, in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
