Michelin opens four new outlets in Hyderabad, strengthens South India retail footprint
Hyderabad, Sept 7 (TNT): Michelin India on Monday strengthened its retail presence in South India with the inauguration of four new Michelin Tyres & Services (MTS) outlets across Hyderabad, expanding access to premium tyre solutions and automotive services.
The new outlets, located at Jubilee Hills, Saroornagar, Gandimaisamma and Kompally, will also improve customer access to Michelin’s recently launched Made-in-India Primacy 5 passenger vehicle tyres.
Developed in line with Michelin’s global retail standards, the outlets feature dedicated service bays, advanced equipment, Michelin branding and customer waiting areas.
The Jubilee Hills outlet has been opened in partnership with Wheel O City, which has nearly 17 years of experience in the market.
The Saroornagar store has been opened in partnership with Vigneshwara Wheels, established in 2013.
The Gandimaisamma outlet is in partnership with Sachin Tyres, which brings 17 years of experience, while the Kompally store has been established in partnership with Lambodara Tyres, founded in 2012.
The Jubilee Hills and Gandimaisamma outlets were inaugurated by Benjamin Coesnon, Marketing Director, B2C, Michelin India, while the Saroornagar and Kompally outlets were inaugurated by Kunal Doshi, SP Director, Michelin India.
Shantanu Deshpande, Managing Director, Michelin India, said Hyderabad continues to be one of the country’s important mobility markets, driven by rapid urban development, expanding infrastructure and growing demand for premium mobility solutions.
He said the four outlets mark an important step in strengthening Michelin’s retail ecosystem and bringing its products and services closer to customers, while the company continues to expand its Made-in-India passenger vehicle tyre portfolio.
Hyderabad remains strategically important to Michelin’s growth in India, supported by increasing premium vehicle ownership and continued urban expansion.
Through partnerships with experienced local dealers, the company is expanding access to globally benchmarked tyre technology and service standards.
