Telangana Governor offers prayers at Tirumala
Tirupati, Sept 1 (TNT) : Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, accompanied by his family members, offered prayers and had darshan of Lord Sri Venkateswara at the Tirumala temple on Tuesday.
Following the darshan, Vedic scholars offered Veda Ashirvachanam to the Governor, while temple authorities presented him with Theertha Prasadam.
Later, the Governor and his family visited Sri Siddheshwar Teerth at Sri Brahmarishi Ashram in C Ramapuram, Tirupati, and offered prayers to Lord Sri Lakshmi Narayana.
They subsequently visited the Sri Kalahasteeswara Temple at Srikalahasti and offered prayers to Lord Shiva.
