Kakinada : Students develop critical thinking: LSP Prez Jayaprakash Narayan
Kakinada, Aug 31 (TNT): Former IAS officer and Lok Satta Party (LSP) President Dr Jayaprakash Narayan on Monday advised the students to develop self confidence, critical thinking and problem solving skills so as to face the challenges for a better career.
Participating as the chief guest at the JNTUK campus engineering college 2026-27 academic year B Tech first year students induction programme at the university Alumni auditorium here, he said students should develop confidence on their abilities and develop the habit of questioning and inculcate the habit of learning while thinking independently.
Along with the higher education ,in future professional life logical thinking, creativity, problem solving abilities are very pivotal. Parents also should encourage their children to develop the skills in their interested fields and face the challenges with much confidence’ he added.
JNTUK Vice chancellor Prof CSRK Prasad who presided, has advised the students to accord priority for discipline, innovations, research and comprehensive personality development in engineering education.
He asked them to make best use of the available resources, laboratories, research opportunities and other facilities in the JNTUK.
Engineering college Principal Prof K Padmaraju while welcoming the students and parents gave a brief account of the available educational programmes, basic amenities, laboratories, student’s assistance network, career development opportunities and called upon the students to make best use of those facilities.
