Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles to Hike Prices by Up to Rs 25,000 from September 1
Mumbai, Aug 21 (TNT): Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd (TMPV) on Friday announced a price hike of up to Rs 25,000 across its portfolio of internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicles (EVs), effective September 1.
In a release, the company said the extent of the increase would vary across models and variants while maintaining the overall value proposition of its offerings.
The price revision is aimed at partially offsetting the impact of rising input costs and sustained inflationary pressures.
The company said it would continue to absorb a significant portion of the cost increases, while passing on part of the impact to customers through the price adjustment.
The price hike will cover Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles’ cars and SUVs across both ICE and EV segments.
The company is part of the Tata Group and offers a portfolio of cars and SUVs, including electric vehicles, connected technologies and multiple powertrain options.
