Trinity Cleantech showcases bioethanol-powered EV charger at India Energy Summit in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Aug 19 (TNT):  Trinity Cleantech Private Limited showcased its 150-kW bioethanol-powered off-grid EV charger and Package Substation/Compact Substation platform at the Two-day 0India Energy Summit & Expo 2026 concluded here on Wednesday.

The company’s ME Energy Rapid Charger 150, a 150-kW DC fast charger with dual CCS2 outputs, generates electricity on site from liquid bioethanol, enabling EV charging without a conventional grid connection.

In a release, Trinity said the charger can be used at highways, fleet depots, mining and industrial sites, defence and strategic locations, rural hubs, construction sites and emergency-response locations.

The company’s pavilion attracted senior government officials, academicians and power-sector representatives. Visitors included Telangana Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Finance and Planning, Energy Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu, Telangana Special Chief Secretary, Energy Naveen Mittal, TGSPDCL Chairman and Managing Director Jitesh V. Patil and APEPDCL Director (Projects) T. Vanaja.

Several visitors also recalled transformers supplied by Trinity during 2013-2022, which the company said highlighted its long-term field performance and product reliability.

The bioethanol-based mobile EV charging technology also received national-level attention on August 2, when Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy participated in its inauguration in Hyderabad.

He highlighted its potential to promote green mobility, encourage ethanol use and reduce petroleum dependence.

Trinity also showcased Package Substations ranging from 250 kVA to 2,500 kVA and up to 33 kV, integrating transformers, HV/LV switchgear, protection, metering and digital connectivity. The platform is SCADA-ready and EMS-compatible and can be deployed for grid-connected EV charging, industrial and infrastructure applications.

The company said it is developing further ME Energy platforms in the 80-240 kW range and is positioning its transformer, package substation and EV charging portfolio across grid-connected and grid-independent energy infrastructure.

Trinity Cleantech Executive Director Raj Kumar Medimi said the response to the company’s products at the summit reflected the changing requirements of the energy sector.

He said the recognition received from visitors who recalled transformers supplied by Trinity years ago was significant and demonstrated the importance of long-term product quality and reliability.

Trinity said it aims to develop an integrated clean-energy manufacturing platform from Telangana for Indian and global markets, covering electric mobility, distributed power and energy resilience.

Trinity Cleantech Private Limited manufactures transformers, packaged substations and EV charging infrastructure. The company operates a manufacturing facility spread across more than 20 acres at Jadcherla Green Industrial Park in Telangana.
