Zomato launches Engine Branding on AP Express to Promote ‘Food on Trains’ Service

Visakhapatnam, Feb 25 (TNT): Zomato, a food ordering and delivery platform on Wednesday unveiled its engine branding campaign titled ‘Fuelling Countless Journeys’ on the Andhra Pradesh Express to promote its expanding Food on Trains service across India.

The campaign aims to highlight the role of train travel in the lives of millions of Indians and position Zomato as a food delivery partner for railway passengers. Through its Food on Trains initiative, passengers can order meals using their PNR details and get food delivered to their seats at designated railway stations.

Since its launch in November 2023, the platform has delivered over 6.4 million orders till December 2025, with items such as biryani, thali and burgers among the most popular choices.

Zomato, an authorised partner of IRCTC, currently enables food delivery services at more than 170 railway stations across metro as well as tier-2 and tier-3 cities, aiming to improve meal accessibility and convenience for rail travellers.

Sahibjeet Singh Sawhney said, “Millions of Indians board trains every single day not for leisure, but because they have somewhere to be and something to prove. Zomato being at the forefront of India’s iconic trains is our way of being part of that energy, making sure the hustle is never interrupted by something as solvable as access to a good meal.”
