Hyderabad, Mar 1 (TNT): The Grand wedding reception of actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna will be held in Hyderabad on March 4.
The couple arrived in Hyderabad on February 27 after solemnising their marriage in Udaipur (Rajasthan), on February 26.
Rashmika Mandanna on Sunday met Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and his family members at his Jubilee Hills residence to invite them to the reception.
People from their families, friends from the film industry and a few special invitees are expected to attend the grand event.
Seeking blessings nationswide with wedding celebration initiative, the couple on Sunday sent thousands of sweet boxes across 23 cities, including Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad.
The sweets, packed in custom-designed covers created for the occasion, are being distributed through decorated trucks moving across major city centres.
Besides distrubiton of sweets, they also organized annadanam, the Hindu tradition of offering free food at 16 temples spread across Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Gujarat, Chattisgarh, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu.
The temples include Shivoham Temple, Sri Sri Krishna Balaram Mandir, Hare Krishna Heritage Tower and Sri Kanaka Durga Temple, among others.
In Hyderabad, the couple distributed sweets at the Venkateswara Swamy Temple run by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams in Jubilee Hills today.
