UoH, Royal Thai Consulate agree to boost Academic collaboration and exchanges

Hyderabad, Feb 26 (TNT): In a move aimed at strengthening international academic cooperation, the University of Hyderabad (UoH) and the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Chennai, have discussed expanding student and faculty exchange programmes and collaborative educational initiatives.

Royal Thai Consul General Mr. Racha Aribag and Deputy Consul General Ms. Pornpun Pupiangjai visited the university and met UoH Vice Chancellor Prof. B.J. Rao. Director, Office of International Affairs (OIA), Prof. Bramanandam Manavathi and Associate Director Prof. Arvind Susarla were present, the University said in a release here on Thursday..

The discussions focused on enhancing academic mobility, creating opportunities for UoH students and faculty to engage with Thai universities, and facilitating visits by Thai students and academic staff to Hyderabad.

Both sides emphasised the importance of global exposure and academic partnerships in strengthening higher education and research.

It was agreed that the Office of International Affairs would hold further consultations to finalise collaborative programmes and exchange frameworks between UoH and universities in Thailand.
