Delhi, Mar 3 (TNT): The United States Department of State has advised all Americans worldwide to exercise increased caution due to potential security risks.
In a statement, the department urged citizens to remain vigilant, monitor local news for updates, avoid areas of active conflict, and exercise additional care when near military or security forces.
U.S. citizens, both domestically and abroad, are encouraged to enrol in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) to receive the latest security alerts and updates.
The department also recommended following its “Security Updates for U.S. Citizens” WhatsApp channel for timely notifications.
Travellers are advised to review the relevant Travel Advisory, country-specific information, and recent alerts available on the official website, travel.state.gov, before planning any international travel.
