Hyderabad, Feb 14 (TNT): The Kautilya School of Public Policy, at GITAM Deemed to be University, will host a two-day National Conference titled “The Dynamics of False Cases” on August 21–22, 2026, at its Hyderabad campus.
According to a university release issued on Saturday, the conference will bring together academics, legal practitioners, policymakers and civil society experts to critically examine the discourse, history, empirical evidence and social impact of allegations described as “false cases.”
The deliberations will place particular emphasis on gender dimensions, law enforcement practices and public perceptions.
The event aims to promote evidence-based dialogue on the misuse-of-law narrative, assess its implications for justice delivery systems, and explore broader societal consequences.
It will also encourage comparative perspectives by drawing insights from other jurisdictions.
The conference will be conducted in a hybrid format, with in-person participation for presenters from India and limited online participation for international scholars.
