Bengaluru, Mar 30 (TNT): TVS Motor Company on Monday announced the launch of two new variants of its flagship motorcycle, the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, expanding its presence in the premium 160cc segment.
With the update, features such as projector headlamp, all-LED lighting and assist and slipper clutch have been made available across the entire Apache RTR 160 4V range, the company said.
The motorcycle is now offered in three variants — single-channel ABS, dual-channel ABS with upside-down (USD) suspension, and a top-end USD variant with TFT display and traction control.
The company said the upgrade is aimed at enhancing rider safety, night-time visibility and overall control, while retaining the model’s performance-oriented DNA.
The updated Apache RTR 160 4V continues to deliver 17.55 PS power and comes with three ride modes — Sport, Urban and Rain.
It is also equipped with features such as TVS SmartXonnect with navigation and call alerts, radial tyres and a hydroformed handlebar for improved handling.
According to the company, the top variant already featured advanced technologies such as TFT display and traction control, while the latest update brings key features to lower variants as well.
The motorcycle is priced from ₹1,25,440 (ex-showroom, Delhi), with other variants priced at ₹1,30,690 and ₹1,37,440.
A senior company official said the update reinforces the brand’s focus on performance, technology and accessibility, while continuing to cater to evolving customer expectations in the segment.
The updated TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is now available across dealerships in India.
