Tirumala, Feb 24 (TNT): Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary on Tuesday directed officials to accord special focus to the disposal of scrap accumulated over several years across various TTD departments.
Chairing the monthly coordination meeting with departmental officials in Tirumala, he instructed them to identify scrap available in all departments and submit a comprehensive report within 15 days. He also asked officials to prepare a structured schedule to dispose of scrap at least once every six months and ensure regular disposal through transparent auction processes.
The Additional EO noted that the feedback system has been delivering positive outcomes, with noticeable improvements in public transport, Annaprasadam, and sanitation services in Tirumala based on devotee feedback. He called for similar focused reviews of the Facilities Management Services (FMS), Kalyanakatta, and luggage centres, and directed officials to prepare an action plan to further enhance devotee services.
He also instructed officials to install kiosk machines at Aswini Hospital in Tirumala to facilitate devotees in making donations conveniently.
Later, Chowdary reviewed the progress of ongoing engineering works. Chief Engineer Satyanarayana and other officials were present.
