TTD Temples Should Evolve into State-of-the-Art Spiritual Centres: AP CM

Tirumala, Mar 21 (TNT): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday said temples under the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) should be transformed into state-of-the-art spiritual centres.

This observation was made by the Chief Minister during a review meeting held at the Artificial Intelligence-based Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) in the Vaikuntham Queue Complex.

He called for strengthening existing systems to proactively identify and address issues faced by devotees, and directed that facilities—from entry into queue lines to completion of darshan and return—be monitored through the Command Centre.

Naidu stressed the need to ensure a pollution-free Tirumala and directed preparation of an action plan to enhance spiritual ambience, including construction of additional temples.

He noted that annadanam (free meals) and pranadanam (medical services) schemes were being implemented successfully and suggested expansion of healthcare services.

He also emphasised skill-based training for Srivari Seva volunteers for effective deployment across TTD temples and advocated adopting TTD practices as a model for temples nationwide, including implementation of integrated command centres for queue management.

Earlier, officials made a presentation on the ICCC, while US-based donor Jayaprasad Vejendla explained the services facilitated through the centre with support from NRI donors.

TTD Executive Officer M. Ravichandra, Secretary to the Chief Minister Pradyumna, Additional EO Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary, SP L. Subbarayudu, CVSO K.V. Muralikrishna and other officials were present.
