Tirumala, Feb 8 (TNT): In a swift and commendable action, the security personnel of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) handed over a lost gold chain to its rightful owner on Sunday.
According to available details, a devotee, D. Koteswara Rao, had come to Tirumala with his family for darshan.
While proceeding through the Vaikuntham Queue Complex, his wife accidentally lost her gold chain.
Following a complaint lodged by the devotee, the TTD vigilance and security team acted promptly.
Acting on the instructions of the CVSO Muralikrishna and under the supervision of senior vigilance officers, the V&SOs Ram Kumar and Surendra, AVSO Chiranjeevi and his team verified the CCTV footage and returned the chain worth around six lakh to the devotee.
The CVSO appreciated the vigilance staff for their alertness, prompt action, and quick response, stating that such efforts reinforce devotees’ trust in the TTD security system.
