Tirumala, Mar 31 (TNT) : Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Tuesday appealed to devotees to plan their travel in advance and exercise caution as repair works are underway on the first Ghat Road from Tirumala to Tirupati.
In a release, TTD said bitumen (BT) road repair works are progressing rapidly and are being carried out without closing the Ghat Road to minimise inconvenience to devotees.
However, due to ongoing works, vehicles may be required to move slowly on the downhill stretch with intermittent stoppages.
Devotees travelling from Tirumala to key transit points such as Renigunta Airport, Tirupati Railway Station and RTC bus stands have been advised to start early and make prior travel arrangements.
TTD requested pilgrims to cooperate with authorities to ensure timely completion of the road works while maintaining safety.
