Tirumala, Mar 7 (TNT): Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary on Saturday reviewed the development of a Digital Procurement and Tender Portal aimed at making the tendering process more transparent and efficient.
During the meeting held s held here, officials discussed the website prototype and design developed by Radiant Infonet Pvt Ltd to fully digitise procurement and tender processes.
Officials said suppliers will be required to register online on the portal to participate in tenders, while their credentials and background will be verified before approval.
A verified supplier database will also be created to facilitate future procurements and help eliminate fake suppliers and middlemen.
The portal will use Artificial Intelligence technology to analyse market trends, price variations and supply conditions, enabling better procurement decisions.
The system will integrate the tender process, supply management and payments on a single platform, while digital payment mechanisms will ensure faster payments to suppliers, officials said.
The initiative is expected to enhance transparency and efficiency while encouraging more qualified suppliers to participate in the procurement process.
Additional FA & CAO Ravi Prasad, Chief Audit Officer Venkata Ramana, Procurement GM Padmavathi and other officials were present.
