Pithapuram (Kakinada Dist), Mar 19 (TNT) :Peethadhipathi Dr. Umar Alisha on Thursday said that Tri-Sadhana is a universal spiritual practice that can help refine and elevate human values.

Addressing the Ugadi celebrations of Sri Parabhava Nama Samvatsaram at the Sri Viswa Vignana Vidya Spiritual Peetham’s new ashram premises here, Dr Umar Alisha stressed the importance of respecting parents, practising human values and following the Guru’s teachings to attain peace and fulfilment.
He said spiritual and philosophical knowledge can help individuals overcome challenges and build mental strength.
During the programme, he initiated around 90 devotees into a spiritual mantra.
Thousands of devotees attended the event, during which Ugadi Pachadi was distributed.
A buttermilk distribution centre set up by the Umar Alisha Rural Development Trust was also inaugurated.
Noted scholar Erramshetty Uma Maheswara Rao presented the Panchanga Sravanam and explained the astrological forecasts.
Children and youth presented spiritual discourses and cultural programmes highlighting human values, devotion and self-realisation.
As part of welfare initiatives, the Trust distributed assistance including a ₹70,000 scholarship to a student, financial aid for ashram infrastructure, sewing machines and livelihood support to women.
Tribal women and participants were felicitated, while devotional music performances were also held.
Several dignitaries and central Committee members of the Peetham including Dr Pingali Anand Kumar attended the event.
