Ten Killed as Sleeper Bus Catches Fire After Collision with Tipper in AP; CM Expresses Shock**

Markapuram (Andhra Pradesh), Mar 26 (TNT): At least 10 passengers were killed in a horrific road accident near Rayavaram in Markapuram district of Andhra Pradesh early Thursday after a private sleeper bus collided with a tipper truck and caught fire.

According to preliminary information, the accident occurred between 5:30 am and 6:00 am when the bus, carrying around 40 passengers, was travelling from Hyderabad to Kanigiri.

Following the collision, the bus was engulfed in flames and completely gutted, police said here.

Several passengers were injured in the incident and have been shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment.

Officials said the death toll may rise as some of the injured are in critical condition.

District authorities, including police and emergency services, rushed to the spot and are supervising rescue and relief operations.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed shock over the incident and directed officials to ensure the best possible medical treatment for the injured.

He also ordered a thorough probe into the cause of the accident and asked officials to submit a detailed report.
