Telangana to Host Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet to Boost MSME Exports Under RAMP

Hyderabad, Apr 6 (TNT): The Government of Telangana will organise a two-day Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet (RBSM) on April 7 and 8 at T-Hub, Hyderabad, to strengthen MSME exports under the RAMP programme.

The event is being organised by Telangana Trade Promotion Corporation (TGTPC) in collaboration with M/s Jagadeesh Private Limited, aimed at positioning Telangana as a strong player in global trade.

The RAMP (Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance) programme, a flagship initiative of the Government of India supported by the World Bank, focuses on enhancing MSME competitiveness, improving market access and promoting technology upgradation.

Officials said the programme is being actively implemented in the state to strengthen the MSME ecosystem.

The meet will provide a platform for direct interaction between Telangana-based MSMEs and international buyers, facilitating trade expansion and export opportunities across sectors such as agriculture and processed food, textiles, handlooms and handicrafts.

Officials noted that Telangana’s MSME sector, particularly in handlooms, handicrafts and agriculture, holds strong potential for global recognition due to its quality and cultural value.

The initiative is expected to enable MSMEs to access international markets, explore global collaborations and expand export capabilities, contributing to sustainable economic growth.
