Telangana sets up 24×7 control room at Telangana Bhavan in Delhi amid West Asia situation

New Delhi, Mar 2 (TNT): The Telangana Government has established a 24×7 control room at Telangana Bhavan here to assist Telangana citizens in view of the prevailing situation in certain Middle East (West Asia) countries.

The move follows directions from Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, with the State Government closely monitoring developments in the region.

Senior officials at Telangana Bhavan are in continuous touch with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, and the concerned Indian Embassies to assess the situation and coordinate necessary measures.

In view of enquiries being received from Telangana citizens residing in the affected countries, including those who may be stranded, as well as from their family members in the State, the government has set up the round-the-clock control room to facilitate coordination and extend assistance wherever required.

Telangana citizens currently residing in the region, or their family members in Telangana, may contact the control room in case of distress, travel disruptions or other emergency situations.
