Hyderabd, Mar 1 (TNT): Telangana Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Sunday said that legal action is inevitable if false propaganda is spread about the Road Transport Department.
In a statement, Ponnam said the RTC has no role in RTC appointments. RTC appointments are handled within the Police Recruitment Cell.
The claim that drivers must be 6 feet tall is incorrect, he clarified.
According to the MV Act, the standard height for the driver post is 5.3 feet (160 centimetres).
There are no issues with the ticketing app and legal action will be taken if false propaganda spreads on social media, the Minister warned.
