Hyderabad, Feb 16 (TNT): Aiming to enhance the professional skills and competence of journalists, Telangana Media Academy is conducting a one-day training programme for journalists on land rights, agriculture, rural development and environmental reporting on Fb 18, the Academy Secretary Nagulapalli Venkateswara Rao said here on Monday.
The training session will be from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Telangana Media Academy Auditorium in Nampally, Rao said in a release here.
The programme will cover key topics including land laws and resolution of land disputes, government schemes in agriculture and allied sectors, bank loans, environmental protection, conservation of lakes, journalistic code of ethics, media laws, digital reporting, agriculture and farmers’ issues, rural development, and revenue-related matters, he said.
Experts will deliver PowerPoint presentations explaining environmental and technological aspects related to reporting, while also creating awareness among journalists on responsible coverage of rural and agricultural issues, he said.
He stated that with the media sector rapidly transforming, journalists must equip themselves with new technologies and provide unbiased and responsible information to society.
