Hyderabad, Mar 5 (TNT) : PanIIT Alumni India will host the PanIIT Hyderabad Summit 2026 here on March 8, bringing together leaders from government, industry and technology sectors.
Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma will inaugurate the summit and deliver the inaugural address.
Union Coal Minister G. Kishan Reddy will deliver a special address, while Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao is also expected to speak at the event.
Senior bureaucrats and IIT alumni leaders expected to participate include National Health Authority CEO Sunil Kumar Barnwal, Special Chief Secretary for Rural Development Sanjay Kumar, Special Secretary to the Chief Minister of Telangana Ajith Reddy, Special Secretary (IT & Electronics), Government of Telangana Bhavesh Mishra and Special Chief Secretary, Energy at Government of Telangana Navin Mittal.
Marking International Women’s Day, the summit will feature a special session by DRDO former Director Dr.Tessy Thomas titled “Missile Woman of India: Science, Strategy & Sovereignty.”
According to organisers, the summit will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, entrepreneurs and members of the global IIT alumni network to discuss technology-led growth and innovation.
Key themes of the summit include infrastructure and energy leadership, defence innovation, urban development, digital transformation, and healthcare and life sciences.
The event will also feature startup pitch sessions in collaboration with T-Hub and T-Works, enabling startups to present ideas before angel investors and venture capital firms.
Etela Rajender, MP, will attend the valedictory session of the summit.
