Telangana Governor Hosts Ugadi Celebrations at Raj Bhavan

Hyderabad, Mar 17 (TNT): Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, participated in Ugadi (Telugu New Year) celebrations held at Raj Bhavan here on Tuesday along with First Lady Janaki Shukla.

Extending greetings on the occasion of  Sri Parabhava Nama Samvatsara Ugadi, the Governor wished happiness and prosperity to Telugu people across the world, highlighting the festival as a reflection of Telugu culture and a symbol of unity among Telugu-speaking communities.

In his address, he called upon people to welcome the new year with dedication, commitment and hard work, stressing the importance of selfless service and noble deeds in building a better future.

As part of the celebrations, scholar Sankaramanchi Shiva Shayi Srinivas performed the traditional Panchanga Pathanam, while cultural programmes presented by a troupe from NCERT, Bengaluru, entertained the gathering.

The event was attended by Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court Aparesh Kumar Singh, Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukender Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu, and several ministers, legislators, senior officials and members of the judiciary.
