Telangana CM to Inaugurate Oil Palm Factory in Siddipet Dist. on Sunday

Siddipet, Mar 22 (TNT): Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will visit Narmeta in Siddipet district on Sunday to inaugurate an oil palm factory in Nangunur mandal.

Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Tummala Nageswara Rao said elaborate arrangements have been made for the visit, with officials continuously reviewing preparations in coordination with the district administration and police.

Farmer festivals have been held at the factory premises over the past three days, drawing participation from farmers across several districts.

About 150 stalls have been setup to showcase agricultural mechanisation, oil palm cultivation practices and allied sectors including horticulture, dairy and fisheries. Scientists are also guiding farmers on modern techniques to improve productivity.

The Chief Minister is scheduled to inaugurate the factory at 4 pm and unveil a pylon.

He will also visit the exhibition stalls and lay the foundation stone for a proposed oil refinery, officials said.

Authorities have been directed to ensure all arrangements, including security, traffic regulation, parking, drinking water, power supply, sound systems, fire safety, ambulance services and helipad facilities, to ensure smooth conduct of the Programme.
