Telangana CM Revanth Reddy to Deliver Virtual Keynote at Harvard AI Symposium

Hyderabad, Mar 26 (TNT): Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, an alumnus of the executive education programme, has been invited to deliver the keynote address at a first-of-its-kind Artificial Intelligence (AI) Symposium being organised by the Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education on March 27 in Boston.

The symposium will bring together leaders from government, industry and academia to deliberate on the rapidly evolving global AI landscape.

However, due to the ongoing Budget Session in Telangana, the Chief Minister will address the gathering virtually instead of travelling to Boston, according to a release from the Chief Minister’s Office on Thursday.

The symposium will commence with opening remarks by Jeremy Weinstein, Dean of the Faculty at the Harvard Kennedy School.

The event is being supported by the Business & Government Programme on India and China (PIC) and the AI & Tech Policy Caucus, along with several Harvard-based think tanks, and will be held at the HKS campus.

The discussions will focus on key themes such as governance, economic competitiveness, geopolitics and human capital in the context of Artificial Intelligence.

Panel discussions will cover topics including “The Race to AGI”, “AI in Emerging Markets”, “Geopolitics of Compute”, and “The Future of Work and Education”.

The symposium will feature a distinguished lineup of speakers including Anousheh Ansari, World Bank representative Illango Pachamuthu, Harvard Center for International Development expert Fatema Z. Sumar, and Brookings Institution senior fellow Landry Signé, among other global experts.
