Hyderabad, Mar 16 (TNT):Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Monday afternoon ordered all Congress MLAs and MLCs, including women legislators, to attend the budget session of the Assembly and Legislative Council and actively participate in debates.
He emphasised close coordination between government Whips and legislators to ensure smooth proceedings in the House.
Speaking at a CLP meeting, Reddy said the Governor’s address provides a roadmap for the government and will serve as an agenda for the upcoming elections.
He instructed members to focus on government achievements and future plans rather than dwell on the failures of the previous administration, and to adhere strictly to the party line during debates.
The Chief Minister also announced that Assembly committees will be constituted soon and urged legislators to study best practices from other states.
He stressed the need to address the summer drinking water crisis and implement the ‘99-Day Praja Palana–Pragati Pranalika’ programme at the grassroots level to deliver government initiatives directly to the people.
