Hyderabad, Feb 7 (TNT): South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava,conducted a detailed inspection of the ongoing redevelopment works at Secunderabad Railway Station here on Saturday.
During the inspection, Srivastava reviewed the progress of upgradation works on both sides of the station, including the Platform No.1 and Platform No.10 sides.
He inspected the development of key passenger infrastructure such as foot over bridges, escalators, waiting halls, platforms, and the upcoming booking offices, parking facilities, and circulating areas.
Railway officials briefed him on the progress and future plans of the redevelopment project. Srivastava instructed officials to expedite the works to ensure timely completion while enhancing passenger amenities.
He also reviewed the measures taken to ensure smooth passenger movement, safety, and security during the execution of major infrastructural works, and directed officials to minimize passenger inconvenience through effective crowd management, strengthened security, and improved passenger assistance systems.
