Reliance Ramps Up LPG Output at Jamnagar, Diverts KG-D6 Gas to Priority Sectors

Mumbai, Mar 10 (TNT): Reliance Industries on Tuesday said it is stepping up LPG production at its refining and petrochemicals complex in Jamnagar to ensure stable domestic supplies amid volatility in global energy markets.

In a statement, the company said its teams are working round the clock to optimise refinery operations and maximise LPG output from the Jamnagar complex, the world’s largest integrated refining hub, in line with Government of India guidelines.

Reliance also said that natural gas produced from the KG-D6 Basin will be diverted to support priority sectors as part of the government’s energy allocation policy.

The company said it will continue to work closely with the government to support the country’s energy security and ensure reliable access to essential fuels for households and critical sectors.
