Hyderabad, Feb 13 (TNT) : The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has approved the reappointment of Sanjay Agarwal as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of AU Small Finance Bank for a further three-year term, effective April 19, 2026.
The approval follows earlier clearances from the bank’s Board and shareholders and comes at a crucial time as AU prepares for a potential transition into a Universal Bank.
The decision underscores regulatory confidence in Agarwal’s leadership and ensures continuity as the bank enters its next phase of growth, the bank said in a release.
