Hyderabad, Mar 1 (TNT): Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi to attend the valedictory session of the joint Andhra Pradesh and Telangana District Congress Committee (DCC) Presidents’ training programme at Ananthagiri Hills in Vikarabad district, outskirts of the Hyderabad, on Monday.
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will receive Rahul Gandhi at Shamshabad Airport at 9.30 am, after which they will travel directly to Vikarabad to participate in the concluding session of the DCC presidents’ training camp.
The two leaders will attend the valedictory session of the joint Andhra Pradesh and Telangana District Congress Committee (DCC) presidents’ training programme, seen as part of the party’s organisational strengthening ahead of upcoming political challenges.
The programme is expected to focus on cadre mobilisation, grassroots expansion nd sharpening the party’s political strategy in both Telugu states.
After the event, the Chief Minister is scheduled to return to Hyderabad in the evening.
Party sources said the joint training initiative reflects the Congress leadership’s renewed emphasis on consolidating its base and preparing district-level leadership for an aggressive political campaign in the region.
