
Hyderabad, Feb 26 (TNT): Singapore-based Optimum Solutions and Japan-based ABeam Consulting on Thursday inaugurated their Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad, which will support large Japanese enterprises worldwide with advanced IT and digital transformation services.
Along with the Hyderabad facility, the two IT firms also inaugurated a GCC in Chennai, marking a significant expansion of their decade-long strategic partnership and strengthening their global delivery network.
The companies said the new Hyderabad centre, focused on artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data engineering and enterprise platforms, is expected to grow to a workforce of 2,000 employees by 2030 against the current workforceof 200, strengthening Hyderabad’s role in their global delivery network, said Optimum solutions Managing Director Sumit Malik on the occasion..
The facility will provide services in application engineering, digital solutions and business operations, integrating Singapore-based engineering capabilities with Japanese consulting expertise to deliver end-to-end enterprise transformation for global clients, he informed.
The company currently works with more than 75 global clients, including Fortune-level enterprises across banking, manufacturing and technology sectors, he said.
He also said it is committed to sustainability and diversity initiatives, including a net-zero target and inclusive workforce policies, while continuing to expand its global footprint across Asia-Pacific, the US and other regions.
Telangana IT and Industries Department Chief Strategy Officer Sreekant Lanka, who attended the inauguration, said Hyderabad has emerged as a preferred destination for global capability centres due to its strong talent pool, reliable infrastructure and stable policy environment.
Company officials said the GCC would strengthen partnerships with universities and skilling institutions to build advanced capabilities in AI, cloud and digital platforms while supporting global enterprises.
ABeam India Head Yasuhisa Omura said the Hyderabad centre would enhance the company’s ability to deliver enterprise transformation services worldwide and reinforce the city’s position as a major global technology hub.
According to a release, backed by a combined revenue base exceeding USD 1.5 billion and a global workforce of over 12,000 professionals, Optimum Solutions views the GCC expansion as a critical pillar of its next phase of growth.
ABeam Consulting said the initiative would strengthen its global delivery ecosystem and enhance its ability to support Japanese enterprises navigating increasingly complex digital and technology environments.
