Hyderabad, Mar 14 (TNT): NTR Memorial Trust Managing Trustee Ms Bhuvaneshwari Nara on Saturday evening said the NTR Trust has been expanding its service initiatives in healthcare, education and disaster relief, guided by the ideals of its founder N. T. Rama Rao.
Speaking on the occasion of the Trust’s 29th formation day celebrations held at NTR Bhavan here, she said the organisation has undertaken several programmes including blood bank services, health camps with special focus on thalassemia patients, education initiatives, women empowerment programmes and disaster management activities.
She said the Trust’s objective has been to reach people in need with care and dignity, adding that the continued support of donors and partner organisations has enabled it to save lives, support families and assist communities during times of crisis.
Recalling the philosophy of N.T. Rama Rao, she said his belief that “society is the temple and people are the gods” continues to guide the Trust’s activities and commitment to social service.
Bhuvaneshwari Nara, the wife of Andhra Pradedsh Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu, also assured donors that the Trust maintains transparency and accountability in the utilisation of funds and that every contribution is used responsibly for clearly defined social initiatives.
