Hyderabad, Mar 25 (TNT): Telangana Deputy Chief Minister and Finance & Power Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Wednesday assured that there is “no shortage of LPG, petrol or diesel” in Hyderabad or across the state.
Chairing a review meeting on fuel supplies along with Civil Supplies and Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy and Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, the Deputy CM said adequate stocks are available and distribution is running smoothly without any disruption.
He urged consumers not to panic over “misleading reports” and advised against hoarding fuel beyond regular requirements.
Bhatti directed officials and fuel agencies to ensure that even the last customer at petrol pumps receives supplies without difficulty.
The Deputy CM also instructed authorities to conduct regular press briefings to build public confidence and warned of strict legal action against black marketing of fuel.
He assured full government support to petroleum and LPG agencies to maintain uninterrupted supply.
Senior officials, including Civil Supplies Commissioner Stephen Ravindra, GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan, police commissioners, and representatives of IOCL, HPCL and BPCL, were present at the meeting.
